CNN host Alisyn Camerota expressed surprise during a Friday interview that any colleges turned down David Hogg, the Parkland, Fla., high school student who has become a major figure in the nation's gun violence debate.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham apologized to Hogg and lost advertisers after she mocked him on Twitter for being rejected by four colleges.
“I am stunned that four colleges rejected you,” Camerota said on Friday. “What kind of dumbass colleges don’t want you? You have taken the country by storm. How do you explain this? Did they reject you before the Parkland massacre?”

My niece is graduating 3rd in her class of 1,000 students, was first violin in her high school orchestra that won a major national award, and was a member of a debating team that was highly ranked nationally. She was rejected by three major universities, so will be registering for an honors program at her state university (which fortunately is excellent).
A classmate graduated around 100th in the class, with no major outside activities, and was accepted to those same universities. His main advantage: melanin.
With the $200K she saved, I suggested she hire some Nobel Prize-winning private tutors.
Maybe his 1.7 GPA has something to do with it (Yes, I made that up...but who knows)
My intuition tells me that Hogg was anti-Hispanic. Cruz had a Hispanic “Pride” Issue. There is word that Hogg and his buddies bullied and harassed him. I suspect that they used his Hispanic background as a subject of harassment. That was just the thing that hurt the most because Cruz for some reason rejected his Hispanic culture. It was also a bad time to bully him because Cruz had emotional problems with the breakup of his girlfriend. That breakup was well deserved because Cruz was “violent and abusive” toward her. What caused his violent behavior towards her? Did bullying cause him to take his emotional feelings out on his girlfriend? Did bulling cause him to break and cause the shooting? That story may come out in the trial.
Maybe some of these colleges had enough liberal troublemakers already.
They rejected him because he skips school. And we know in Florida everyone gets a diploma. It’s the equality way.

No doubt, there’s some institution who is now mulling over giving Hoggboy a full ride, simply because of his activism
Besides, he wants to be a journalist. As we’ve seen, intelligence is a non-factor for that profession anymore.
