We will be defeated only if we fail to find each other in love. Not a squishy love that ignores evil but a firm love that requires the best in us.
We will love our neighbors into a deeper and stronger understanding of the absolute necessity of our unity guided by the unquenchable authority of our forefathers.
We are one people established with inalienable rights and privileges. Among these are the ones we know and a few we have forgotten.
The love of God is one such privilege. Absolute responsibility for our actions and personal responsibility for the protection of our families are two more privileges.
The deceivers who deny our heritage will be silenced when we stop listening to them. Many will be shamed into silence. Others wills stop their chatter when they discover no one is listening.
I understand your points.
“Yes we will be reunited as a nation. There will always be the few who will hold tight to their grievances. At the end of this struggle theirs will not be the voices heard. They will be silenced by the authority of the love that exists between us.”
Your optimism appeals to me. But scripture, it seems, does not support the view that most people will choose love over evil. Everyone can and many do but most choose the broad way and not the narrow.
As for our nation: it is clear there is lots more trouble ahead.
Good thoughts Lou, but to the rabid left God is their enemy too, for if people follow God they will not submit to the godless left. .
