An Iowa man says his dog inadvertently shot him while they were roughhousing Wednesday.
Richard Remme, 51, of Fort Dodge, told police he was playing with his dog, Balew, on the couch and tossed the dog off his lap. He says when the pit bull-Labrador mix bounded back up, he must have disabled the safety on the gun in his belly band and stepped on the trigger.

Seriously, I think pit-bulls should be outlawed. And they sure as heck are NOT covered under the Second Amendment.

If a guy is stupid enough to wrestle with anything with a gun strapped to his middle, and it discharges by accident, then he deserved the education. He might not do it again. Was he expecting a problem that he needed a gun for? He should have laid it on the table or floor, especially if it was loaded.

Pit bulls are taking it to a new level in their battle against humans, it appears.
