There was a time when this would have been the MOST IMPORTANT STORY on Free Republic with dozens of threads and hundreds of posts. Now it barely makes a blip.
It's all over Twitter however. That's where the war is being fought.

I’m not on Twitter, and I have other things besides getting angry at news to GAS about.
I did think it’d get more attention....maybe the title didn’t help if there’s many that don’t know who he is(?).
What is going on in the UK is horrific.
I'd think that people were exaggerating if the evidence wasn't so clear.
They have police departments on Twitter posting that you'll go to jail if you say mean things about Muslims. It's hard not to laugh except that people are actually going to jail (where they're then murdered by Muslim inmates). It's like Britain has turned into a not-funny version of The Onion. A very frightening The Onion.
I read a great book on the true story of Captain Kidd. Hanged as a pirate, but was really a Privateer authorized by the King. (The King let him hang due to political expediency - same as today.) Kidd too was appointed a Gov’t lawyer that didn’t do anything. I’m not sure if the laws have changed in England since the 1700’s, but back then it was guilty until proven innocent.
I think you’re right. This story is shocking, particularly in light of the willful suppression by media of what’s happening in Europe as the result of muslim migration. It’s a nightmare.
I pray for Tommy Robinson. While he has friends on the outside, I fear what may happen to him inside.
Then there’s the censorship too. Things posted on FB that friends/family in the UK never see. They’re literally trying to control thought.

Given the almost total and deliberate media blackout, a lot of people don't know about Tommy Robinson. Everyone should take the time to learn, especially here on Free Republic.
