I expected Van Gogh and Lautrec but Remington and landscapes were unexpected. There was a pleasant surprise at the end of the list with our President and First Lady.
Thanks again for sharing.
Perhaps “mung” is midwestern. Usually means to do in. In this case, it refers to the fact that YouTube compresses a video so severely that moves across an image turn into hops, skips and jumps. VERY frustrating when you are as picky as I am. Do enjoy that term. So I always make the video that I give to YouTube to mung available for downloading if you, too, grind your teeth at jerky moves.
Now I would have thought that the Ancient Chinese and Egyptian would have been unexpected. I still want to do the Lascaux caves. Some of the ancient Sumerian music has the right feel. These videos are all a way of recovering the over fifty year old memories of Art History classes at U of Chicago. It was so exciting to remember a particular pot or a particular statue again.
I’m very glad you enjoyed them. I came to FR because I needed a place that loved our first family as much as I do, and I fear too many of my friends are liberal and don’t. It’s just a joy to put the first family to music. I was pretty sure I had not put the Trump videos in this fine arts playlist, so I’m confused what list was presented to you by YouTube. I find our President and First Lady (do love writing that) on the Patriotic/Political Musical Tributes playlist.

A video on both lists that I strongly recommend is the Fireworks to Beethoven’s 9th.
