Marilyn Monroes rear is getting some leers in Connecticut.
A 26-foot statue of the iconic actress has been placed in a Stamford park across the street from a church, which is getting a full view of her behind.
It depicts the famous scene from 1955s The Seven Year Itch where Monroe holds down her white dress as air blows up from a subway grate. The back of the statue showing her underwear is clearly visible from the front of the First Congregational Church of Stamford.

You mean the church with the huge Gay Pride banner across its entrance?
Ironic.
His version of the building was quite a bit smaller. That just means there’s a larger percentage of the congregation that will appreciate the statue than you might first imagine.
Just her butt is showing?....
You know people are going to have themselves photographed in compromising positions.
Not ONCE did that occur to me, though I did think that they might end up rubbing her rump down to shiny brass.
Connecticut is turning into the California of the east coast.
brass => metal
Trying to find the family graves was a rather nervewracking experience. But the backroads are still wonderful to drive, as long as you have a book of town maps.
The statue should have a thong. I know it’s not historically correct. Just saying
I still think she’s beautiful.
Can’t see how anyone would get their panties in a knot because a metal statue is displaying ‘granny panties’. In this day and age womens shorts in the summer are much more revealing.

If MM were here today, she would say, “Kiss my ass, faggots!”
Personally, I love the statue. Do you remember how good it feels to step on a grate of hot air? That smile remembers.
She was beautiful.
This statue? ...not so much ... the coloring is bad, it’s amateurish and blocky in shape (almost masculine), and the undies looks like ‘grannie panties’. Not impressed.
The last place Rahm would be interested in going.
Feminists fight anything visual to men.
I always thought she looked cheap, and more suited to her former profession.
