North Korea erasing most anti-US propaganda

Nix the nuclear warheads, cue the doves.

The North Korean government is erasing much of its anti-U.S. propaganda following dictator Kim Jong-un’s forays onto the world stage.

Gone are the posters depicting the U.S. as a “rotten, diseased, pirate nation” and promising “merciless revenge” on American forces for an imagined attack on the totalitarian country.

In their place are cheery messages touting praising the prospects for Korean reunification and the declaration Kim signed in April with South Korean President Moon Jae-in promising “lasting peace,” according to reports.

had this news for the financial community. Seeing it in the NY Post means that the general populace is learning that the approach POTUS is taking toward peace with North Korea is really working, and that the negative news is just more negative spin. Even NY Democrats can see what the change in propaganda means. More winning!!!!!!!!!

Yes.

This is a big deal. This reverses decades of anti-U.S. propaganda.

It is a huge step for Kim and the North Korean leadership.

The population must be wondering what is going on, or about to happen.

Want to make book that that will happen? Both Kim AND Trump know the value of big gestures. That will get saved for a time when it will have the most impact. Or they’ll find a way to turn the ship into a pro American tourist trap showing the bad old past and the bright new future.

I thought of that. But it is much more difficult in reality to erase 60 years of constant propaganda.

At minimum, there will be a rise in skepticism and/or cognitive dissonance among North Koreans.

This marks a genuine and shocking turn around. President Trump’s administration under his direction deserves the credit for this. One can only hope that something similar can eventually happen with other rogue regimes.

This is very significant. That’s why the media is not going to tell the people about it.

Yes. Unfortunately not a whole lot of people will read inside the NY Post. It needs to move to TV news. OR TRUMP TWITTER!
