Kim Jong-un ordered the public execution of a high-ranking army officer – for giving his troops extra rations of food and fuel.

Lieutenant General Hyon Ju-song was pumped full of 90 rounds fired by nine military death-row convicts who made up the firing squad.

He was put to death after being found guilty of charges of abusing authority, profiting the enemy and engaging in anti-Party acts.

Reports suggest he was shot at the firing range of the Kang Kon Military Academy located in the Sunan District of the capital Pyongyang.

Trump should be taking notes on military reform.

The U.S. Government had better verify everything Kim Jong Un does these next few years.

I wonder what signal he was sending us when he shot his General.Or was he just trying to insure he’s to be seen as the absolute ruler of North Korea.

If Kim follows through on the meeting with President Trump, thousands of NK military folk will be looking for new jobs.
They might see this coming...

When we won in Iraq, huge numbers of Saddam’s soldiers were suddenly out of work. So they were hired by the Iranians and other outside powers to conduct an insurgency against the US. It was the only job available.

This might be true...or it might be Deep State anti-Trump propaganda.

There was a time that we accepted all of these stories at face value, but one never knows, any more.

In order for North Korea to change for the better, one ruler must have complete authority to see that change takes place.

We enforce discipline a bit different in these United States. It takes several years to bring traitors to justice. Meanwhile, many of our seditious government employees and press plot to take down our legitimately elected government by any means.

Political liberalization in China - the myth sold to the sheeple in the west - has never happened, and it will not happen in North Korea no matter what economic reforms take place. Marxist tigers cannot change their stripes. They can cover them up, but the reality is always there.

Was he shot before or after the meeting with Trump? After the crying kid pictures, it’s always good to know when, before letting a story influence an opinion.

On an unrelated note I saw a story yesterday that Trump has cooled on Mattis. They were never warm to begin with but increasingly Mattis is going the way of Tillerson with borderline insubordination.

Most General officers do act like mini dictators even more so for combat officers. In their realm of rule, they are the absolute authority, once you experience that life it is hard to conform otherwise.
