Our vet was allergic to Shar Peis. I guess a lot of people are. I’d take my Wally in and before we left her arms would be breaking out. She didn’t care. She was one of the only Shar Pei experts in town.
I don’t know, depends on how it was handled. At least he seemed to deal with the woman directly at first, rather than whining to authorities. And she does not sound unreasonable.
But I would take the other seat. After, the back seats are best...in a crash your best chance is at the back. ;-)

Exactly - Muslim or black person who felt uncomfortable w/a likely white BLIND person having a dog behind him. Jerk. The fact that he didn’t bother to move makes his allergy story go down the drain.
Close but not quite: the scum tried to have her REMOVED from the flight but would not move himself.
Short flights like that make no real sense. Add in getting to and from the plane and security time and it’s almost always faster to drive. Then there’s the question of whether the plane will be on time. Short flights like that often aren’t, as I discovered to my disadvantage when living and working in Milwaukee and connecting by air from Milwaukee to Chicago, until I got smart and started driving that 90 miles instead of flying.
The only reason I have ever seen to take a short flight would be to go through security at a much smaller airport.

If he was truly allergic, he’d have moved his seat.
Since the woman had OK-ed the dog ahead of time for the flight, she did NOT have to move. Air Canada staff also offered to move Ty to the back of the plane, but he refused ... saying he had paid for his seat.
