Don’t insult Arnold!

It will be dreadful.
The gay Douglas couple will be Oliver and Larry Douglas an interracial transsexual couple. You figure out who is who.
The neighbors will be fruits and pervs. The plot will be the transformation of the Douglas farm into a socialist collective, with songs straight out of the rappin' jungle.

(You cannot invade the mainland US. There'd be a rifle behind every blade of grass.)
This will be a disaster. The whole success of Green Acres was the fabulous cast - who are either dead or drooling by now.
Who’s going to play Mr. Haney? Or Hank Kimball? Eb would probably be the easiest to replace - there are plenty of complete morons in Hollywierd who say dumb things without even the benefit of a great script.
Which is another problem. The liberals that write it will take out all the good humor for either not being politically correct, or being not correct politically.
To paraphrase Zero Mostel in “The Producers” - “This play has to close on page four.”

Yeah, you could be right there. Certainly there will be SOME big curve ball.
I loved Green Acres, which means they will definitely mess it up.

It was axed on CBS (as other shows) at the time for being too “rural”.
