"They Want You Divided"

Q has repeated the phrase, "They Want You Divided" in 10 Q drops. I think we have some prime opportunities before us to address these divisions on Free Republic.

I'm sure many on the thread have not forgotten the months of hostility Q threads have received from other FReepers. Perhaps I was not the only one shocked by the level of vitriol directed at Sessions. But these signs of dissension highlight both successes (Trump's) and opportunities (ours).

We're now in a new phase, per Q, and I believe an examination of our tactics is warranted. During the formative months of Q's information army, some people came to our threads, 1) asked what appeared to be reasonable question(s), 2) beclowned themselves with rage fits, tirades and Alinsky tactics, and 3) then 'Rinse and Repeat', ad naseum. After months of trolls' futile attempts to stop us, a fair number of us have been "innoculated" against troll "calling card" questions from noobs arriving on the thread. However, the trolls initially acquired those questions from legitimate patriots from the start for this purpose - they wanted to limit the spread of information by surreptitiously painting a target on the backs of patriots seeking information. I have misidentified a noob as a troll and I have seen others make the same mistake. In fact, there appears to be little agreement as to whom we believe to be trolling versus asking legitimate questions.

Noobs witnessing confrontations with perceived trolls may, on our worst days, be forgiven for mistaking the thread tableau for a return the days of gladiators in the Roman Coliseum. Because trolls select legitimate queries by noobs as their cannon fodder, FReeQs calling said trolls "stupid" or "idiot" may be perceived as insulting noobs who watch, and are disappointed with epithets instead of the hoped for answers they were seeking.

I recall my despairing days leading up to my discovery of Q in November. When I first started reading drops, that despair was infused with anger at those I suspected of doling out false hope for a larp. But back then, Q was actively establishing a foundation of knowledge to help people like me. Through reading Q's (de)classified documents from the '50's, 70's and 90's I learned about the cultivation of Project Mockingbird and so, to disconnect from the MSM. I had fearful moments where I wondered if this new found hope was just a cruel hoax, but time after time, reality "caught up" to Q drops and I grew confident. Our peers out in the forum don't have these "training wheels" now that we are in the midst of the storm. We use terminology and appear (to them) to accept the most bizarre information on faith alone. We discuss "pedovores" now, albeit with reluctance, and other terminology without supplying all the history, information and difficult phases of acceptance that got us to this point. It's harder now for those new to Q drops, and they are struggling as they search the MSM for hope. Many don't have the time I was fortunate to have had months ago; some work long hours at one or more jobs, care for aging parents, contend with illnesses etc. and in those brief moments they have to look at information, they get dire reports of failure from every channel.

One week Trump tells us that the redacted IG report contains bad information about bad people (accurate) and the next week he complains about "useless" Jeff Sessions (inaccurate). I can't genuinely fault the intelligence of people who believe what Trump tells us; without Q, how would we know when we're watching POTUS or the game he's playing?

Our forum FReepers aren't stupid for trusting the president. POTUS routinely deceives savvy heads of state, despite the efforts of countless intel agencies, world-wide on a regular basis; the inability to predict what Trump "really" intends to do is part of the human condition.

Most noobs arriving these days, were not reading along with us when Q531 dropped (And yes, I know we still have trolls arriving pretending to be noobs). In Q531, we learned of a famous chess maneuver wherein the winning strategy is defensive, with the victor giving every impression of losing throughout the game, right up until the victorious end. The president plays the game so well - those in the forum who believe he is losing provide the necessary optics to the MSM and our media - but those who believe we are losing our country are suffering throughout the game. I'll put the image of the chess game from Q531 below. I have some ideas about strategy moving forward but as I know my long posts have certain sedative properties, I'll put a line or two here.

I think we could benefit by having a FAQ linked to the thread table. The FAQ could be collections of the best responses (or edited into cohesive answers) to questions like, "Why do you still believe Sessions?" This would provide noobs/trolls with non-lethal answers to some of the most controversial topics. Also, as some of our trolls like to play "fetch" by asking for obscure information going back months; but these "concerns" may be shared by noobs who really want to know. We can think about the best way to explain, for example, that the information was heavily analyzed by all intersted parties and there was ample proof (resolution) but it's not the easiest to find. We can invite FReeQs to point to sources, utilize FReeQ memory banks, or put it on our list to add to FAQ later (not priority). I can't do such suggestions justice in a few words but others can and I'm suggesting that we can update our tactics in general.

In the 19th Century, both in England and in France, floral metaphors for women’s genitals started to, well, blossom. In Manet’s Olympia, one of the signal paintings of the nineteenth century, the titular prostitute covers her genitals with her left hand. But she has a pink camellia in her hair – a stand-in for her covered sex – and indeed her servant comes in from the side of the composition bearing a bouquet of flowers. The bouquet is a gift from a client, in one sense, but not only that: the flowers indicate that this woman is on the market.

The analogy is a wide one: in Japan geishas worked in hanamachi, or ‘flower towns’, while in China brothels were euphemistically referred to as the ‘flower market’.

And flowers could signal sexual availability not only for women but for men. The British interwar painter Glyn Philpot, in his Après-midi tunisien, depicts an older, bearded man in the Maghreb, lounging with a boy on a recessed bench. You could almost believe the two were equals – until you see that the younger gent has got a carnation behind his ear, and the elder is toying with the same flower in his hands.

As always, a gigantic ThanQ~ to all who maintain and add to the Qnation threads. A selection of tweets from POTUS today, earliest at the top, starting 9 hours ago and most recent at the bottom 45 minutes ago:

Please understand, there are consequences when people cross our Border illegally, whether they have children or not - and many are just using children for their own sinister purposes. Congress must act on fixing the DUMBEST & WORST immigration laws anywhere in the world! Vote “R”— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

Democrats, who want Open Borders and care little about Crime, are incompetent, but they have the Fake News Media almost totally on their side!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 27, 2018

The only things the Democrats do well is “Resist,” which is their campaign slogan, and “Obstruct.” Cryin’ Chuck Schumer has almost 400 great American people that are waiting “forever” to serve our Country! A total disgrace. Mitch M should not let them go home until all approved!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 28, 2018

Had a very good and interesting meeting at the White House with A.G. Sulzberger, Publisher of the New York Times. Spent much time talking about the vast amounts of Fake News being put out by the media & how that Fake News has morphed into phrase, “Enemy of the People.” Sad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

I would be willing to “shut down” government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall! Must get rid of Lottery, Catch & Release etc. and finally go to system of Immigration based on MERIT! We need great people coming into our Country!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

When the media - driven insane by their Trump Derangement Syndrome - reveals internal deliberations of our government, it truly puts the lives of many, not just journalists, at risk! Very unpatriotic! Freedom of the press also comes with a responsibility to report the news...— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

...accurately. 90% of media coverage of my Administration is negative, despite the tremendously positive results we are achieving, it’s no surprise that confidence in the media is at an all time low! I will not allow our great country to be sold out by anti-Trump haters in the...— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

...dying newspaper industry. No matter how much they try to distract and cover it up, our country is making great progress under my leadership and I will never stop fighting for the American people! As an example, the failing New York Times...— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

...and the Amazon Washington Post do nothing but write bad stories even on very positive achievements - and they will never change!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

There is No Collusion! The Robert Mueller Rigged Witch Hunt, headed now by 17 (increased from 13, including an Obama White House lawyer) Angry Democrats, was started by a fraudulent Dossier, paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC. Therefore, the Witch Hunt is an illegal Scam!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

Is Robert Mueller ever going to release his conflicts of interest with respect to President Trump, including the fact that we had a very nasty & contentious business relationship, I turned him down to head the FBI (one day before appointment as S.C.) & Comey is his close friend..— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2018

....Also, why is Mueller only appointing Angry Dems, some of whom have worked for Crooked Hillary, others, including himself, have worked for Obama....And why isn’t Mueller looking at all of the criminal activity & real Russian Collusion on the Democrats side-Podesta, Dossier?— Donald J. Peter Benchley Recollections, date unknown. Tape 1.

LBJ Library

In honor of Shark Week, I wanted to share a video I came across about the author of JAWS, Peter Benchley while I was digging earlier today. The youtube link to the interview is above.

Most people recognize the iconic picture on the front of Peter Benchley's paperback bestseller, Jaws and know the movie was directed by Stephen Spielberg. But I wonder how many know Peter Benchley was a Speech writer and White House Staff Assistant, 1967-1968 in the Lyndon Johnson Administration. I wonder if people know Benchley also had a "Q" security clearance.

The taped interview is Quite interesting. At minute marker 29:37 Mr. Benchley relates he was given Q Clearance, he did not understand it and he did not want it. He says in the interview he was instructed to obtain a shredder however he did not and says he disposed of documents via the waste paper basket. Later in the interview at minute marker 59:14, Mr. Benchley hears and is distracted by a toilet flushing at which point he laughs and says "Hi, just have a pee for me." (Pee tape-where have I heard that lately?)I did say the interview is Quite interesting.

I wonder how many people know Peter Benchley wrote another book called Q Clearance.Q Clearance was not so well known in drawing the attention of the people to "watch the water" for sharks as Jaws did but it could become a late blooming summer blockbuster. The following is a bibliography of Peter Benchley's book, Q Clearance.

Q Clearance

by

Peter Benchley

In this novel the author of Jaws reveals that he knows as much about the White House as he does about the sea: a knowledge which is the 'special ingredient' in an irresistibly hilarious and suspenseful story.

Timothy Burnham works – as Peter Benchley once did – as a speechwriter to the President. He has been in the same room as the great man, but only with a lot of other people, and he likes it that way – he is that rarity in Washington, a man with no appetite for power.

By a quirk of bureaucracy Burnham is given Q Clearance, which means that every day he receives documents crammed with the highest atomic secrets of which he understands not a word, and which he has to shred every night.

Big joke, thinks Burham – but he does not laugh when for unfathomable reasons he suddenly becomes the President's blue-eyed boy. That, he knows, is more than he can cope with – except that, exhilaratingly, the terrifying old man seems to bring out in Burnham more than Burnham knew was there.

While this nerve-racking relationship is developing, Burnham meets a lovely blonde. It does not occur to him that a lovely blonde might show obvious interest in a man with Q Clearance, who enjoys the confidence of his President, for some reason other than their enjoyable compatibility.

Add to this situation a White House cleaning lady from Bermuda who is desperate to procure for her son a certificate of graduation from high school; an enigmatic caterer whose past is known to nobody (or at least, to nobody in the United States); and several members of the President's Cabinet – figures who would be larger than life if they were not so devastatingly true to it – and you have a spy novel that is pure pleasure: a wonderful balancing act between fidelity to a mind-boggling reality and a genius for entertainment.

Hi ransomnote, all! Posting blind and behind, as usual! so.... if others are already talking about this, then, I’m hopefully and helpfully chiming in!

During the Blood Moon lunar eclipse event, I kept thinking of how Q told us that stuff would be happening after the “SKY EVENT” and that things would pop. Note we are still in July, and future is proving past.

That indeed does seem to be proving out, at least in my opinion. As Q noted in his recent Flurry, with bold letters yet, that the FISA release IS CRITICAL TO THE WHOLE THING! [texokie’s paraphrase]

Another topic that has come in to me over the Qanteen transom, not from FReeQanon, but from another source. This article is so good, and so important, because it examines so well the mindset of our Chinese adversaries. I am taking this opportunity to post it in full.

Meanwhile, the Chinese think Trump is a genius
By Monica Showalter

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/07/the_chinese_think_trump_is_a_genius.html#ixzz5MgIiWV3c

Has anyone ever called the Chinese ‘stupid’? Not those guys.

So now they’re reading President Trump, and unlike the childish Eurotrash of western Europe, they see a shrewd, wily, chess-playing, Sun Tzu-grade genius, who could easily checkmate them, and they’ve got a lot of reasons for thinking so.

That’s the report from a European policy-domo, who actually went to Beijing and asked the local leaders what they were seeing. The report that European Council of Foreign Relations President Mark Leonard gives, in the Financial Times, is well worth the subscription or trial subscription to read it. Some of his thoughts from the pice can be read on Instapundit, however. Here’s a bit of what Glenn Reynolds posted:

I have just spent a week in Beijing talking to officials and intellectuals, many of whom are awed by his skill as a strategist and tactician. . . .

Few Chinese think that Mr Trump’s primary concern is to rebalance the bilateral trade deficit. If it were, they say, he would have aligned with the EU, Japan and Canada against China rather than scooping up America’s allies in his tariff dragnet. They think the US president’s goal is nothing less than remaking the global order.

[The link has a video inset link at this point]

They think Mr Trump feels he is presiding over the relative decline of his great nation. It is not that the current order does not benefit the US. The problem is that it benefits others more in relative terms. To make things worse the US is investing billions of dollars and a fair amount of blood in supporting the very alliances and international institutions that are constraining America and facilitating China’s rise.

In Chinese eyes, Mr Trump’s response is a form of “creative destruction”. He is systematically destroying the existing institutions — from the World Trade Organization and the North American Free Trade Agreement to Nato and the Iran nuclear deal — as a first step towards renegotiating the world order on terms more favourable to Washington.

Once the order is destroyed, the Chinese elite believes, Mr Trump will move to stage two: renegotiating America’s relationship with other powers. Because the US is still the most powerful country in the world, it will be able to negotiate with other countries from a position of strength if it deals with them one at a time rather than through multilateral institutions that empower the weak at the expense of the strong.

My interlocutors say that Mr Trump is the US first president for more than 40 years to bash China on three fronts simultaneously: trade, military and ideology. They describe him as a master tactician, focusing on one issue at a time, and extracting as many concessions as he can. They speak of the skilful way Mr Trump has treated President Xi Jinping. “Look at how he handled North Korea,” one says. “He got Xi Jinping to agree to UN sanctions [half a dozen] times, creating an economic stranglehold on the country. China almost turned North Korea into a sworn enemy of the country.” But they also see him as a strategist, willing to declare a truce in each area when there are no more concessions to be had, and then start again with a new front.

Wow. So the Chinese watched the Trump dramas in Quebec and Singapore and Brussels and Helsinki closely, and drew their own conclusions as to what was going on from them. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, as Sun Tzu used to say. The slaparound of Justin Trudeau in Canada, the rapprochement with North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong Un in Singapore, the second slaparound at NATO headquarters in Belgium and the lovefest with Vladimir Putin in Finland had quite an effect in China, where the locals recognized the dictum in action.

What a coincidence, Trump just happens to be a student of Sun Tzu, the famous Chinese strategist, who wrote “The Art of War.”

Apparently, the Chinese didn’t see a madman (and being pals with Kim, don’t think the Chinese aren’t well-experienced with so-called madmen) the way the Europeans and the U.S. left did. They saw a power player, someone intent on taking down the world order that the U.S. pays full freight on, yet gets very little from. After all, who cleaned up after the Iraq War was fought, (with U.S. blood and treasure, along with its dragged-along, unwilling allies), and then got all the oil? The Chinese, of course.

Naturally, that means that up until now, they’ve considered the U.S. a sucker. Note that the Chinese guy Leonard quotes is the very Chicom, now-former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs He Yafei, who had fun browbeating President Obama openly in Copenhagen a few years ago, and Obama just took it.

He’s not talking the same way about Trump.

They see Trump as breaking up the multilateral institutions of the post-war order that so stiff the Americans, and then holding out for a better deal for the U.S. on them, which does kind of make sense. After all, Trump is saying that’s his idea in the trade war back and forths, over tariffs and pacts.

Maybe President Trump is doing this instinctively, or maybe he’s doing it with a plan in mind, something that makes the Trump-haters laugh. (Recall though, that his earlier policy guru, Steve Bannon, did focus intently on China.)

What’s clear though, is that the Chinese have a healthy respect for the U.S. now, and don’t focus on mannerisms the way the Eurotrash and their mannerist leftist U.S. allies do, just the actual substance of Dealing with Trump.

Was it Sun Tzu or someone who noted the importance of persuading your adversaries that you are more powerful than you may appear to be?

Actually Trump himself did, in this Sun Tzu tweet here. Trump, after all, is a big fan of Sun Tzu.
