ABC 7 reports that residents knew the victim as a “jack of all trades” type in the neighborhood, like cutting grass and going to get groceries for neighbors. She was about to cut grass when the pit bull attacked her. Police said the dog bit her all over her body, including her neck. Chicago police and animal control officers remain at the scene of the deadly dog attack. Currently, officers are going door-to-door trying to find out who owned the pit bull and how the animal got loose.

State Farm is the only major insurance company that covers the breed, iow, they do not discriminate against Pit Bulls. Last year they had 3 times the dog bite claims of the rest of the industry. Just the facts.
Regardless of why the breed is the way it is, how many good deeds they do or don’t do, the facts are facts. Humans have screwed up this breed. They are defective. This conversation is proof of that. As one who works in this field, it is foolish to ignore what these dogs do. All child sex offenders are put on a list for life, as they should be. Even society knows pedophiles are nearly impossible to rehab. You don’t have to be a dog hater to acknowledge the problem with this breed and to support the curtailment of the breed. It is just being responsible. We are currently training our second Doberman.fustrating as all get out how idiot breeders have screwed up this breed too. I’m not willing to spend 10k on a properly bred Doberman, but the defects in this breed do not cause it to harm people. It is simply being responsible.

I truly hope that your daily attacks on pitbulls, to have them culled from society, will amount to zilch. I am hoping that there are too many free-living Americans that love pitbulls amd understand that banning them will not stop at just Pitbulls.
