There are news sites that will not let me highlight text, let alone copy/paste article. Most recently Briebart now does this.
HOW are you doing what I cannot?
Try googling why cant I cut and paste?
I take it you’re not a view source kinda guy...
Try printing the article but select the PSF option. This should create a file you can open in any free PDF viewer and then copy at your leisure.
Alternatively depending on your browser of choice their may be a plug-in for that but those are hit or miss and sometimes more trouble than their worth.
Oh yeah you can always just manually retype the words.
Provide us an article where you are having that issue so others can test and see if we experience the same issue. If we do then the site is somehow able to prevent copy & paste, otherwise, the issue is with either you or your computer.

Just do what Kamala Harris does, type in any words you want and use those as the quote.
If you are using chrome that can be the problem. Switch to a different browser.
I have that problem with Edge sometimes. Other than using a different browser, try right-click View Source.
I’m using Apple’s Safari, and have no problem with cut and paste.
I think Woodward follows the same playbook.
I can cut and paste from Breitbart, also.
I did this morning have trouble cut and pasting from an old email of my own to resend to someone else.
So I highlighted the area I needed and sent it to a post on a forum, didn’t post it but then recopied it and pasted it into my email.
That crazy enough for ya? ;)
Try highlighting the text BACKWARDS, from end to beginning.
This sometimes works....................
I open my notebook and click select all then copy and paste from that.
I find that if I hit the PRINT button, it often opens a plain formatted text document that can be cut and pasted easily.

Paste, like with glue?
Now we know who taught Hillary how to answer the question about wiping her computer/server...with a cloth. Well played...
