Japan Needs ‘Foreigner Blood’ Like Naomi Osaka’s
Daily Beast ^ | September 17, 2018 | Jake Adelstein

There’s a Japanese saying most high-school students here know, “If you win, you’re the Imperial Army. If you lose, you’re scurvy pirates.” It’s still very applicable to sports in modern Japan, especially when the players are of mixed race. “If you win, you’re Japanese. If you lose, you’re a hafu (half-Japanese).”

“Hafu” is the term in vogue for any child with one parent who is not fully Japanese; the term is controversial because it seems to imply that hafu lack something and is also reminiscent of the pejorative “half-breed.” Yet, alternate terms, like daburu (double), haven’t caught on.

So one a half-Japanese girl wins a tennis tournament and this author wants to ruin Japan by immigration. Japan works because of it is a tight knit nation that is willing to accept foreign ideas and make them Japanese.

She doesn’t even live in Japan....

“Osaka moved at the age of three with her family to the United States where she currently resides in Florida.”

The author cites “the UN” multiple times. That alone should cause anyone to put this article in the trash immediately.

Japan has near zero crime. Most citizens do not even need to lock their doors. Japanese will say their nation has existed for 2500 years. Trying to make foreigners Japanese would be a disaster for the nation.

Populations rise and fall naturally for many reasons. The idea that any nation “must have” ever-rising population is the chief lie of globalists, statists and bankers who must have ever-increasing population to service massive debt.

As with anyplace and any culture - there is good and bad in Japan. It happens to be on balance good. There are things about Japan that I wish we could bring to the states.... such as their 7-11 operations... the lunches available for just a few dollars are outstanding. Customer service is amazing - rare to receive poor service there.

The US is very very good on balance.

They in Japan, if you drop your wallet in the street, you can come back hours later it will still be there with everything still in it.

I’d go for Lawsons and their egg salad sandwiches over 7-11

True... true... I just found that not as many people who haven’t been there or Hong Kong before would recognize Lawson’s as easily as 7-11. So I went with that.

I usually grab a couple of rice balls and a heavy bento when I hit up either....but those sandwiches... well you do have to pick something up to snack on later...

The Japanese have two inviolate natural resources: their people and their culture. My experience there taught me that any tinkering of culture or ethnic purity is frowned upon. It would be racist by western culture standards. But protects the nation by their standard
