Repeated login requests

Every time I leave the Free Republic website e and return I am required to login again .Has FR started a new policy or is this a problem at my end?

You might have your browser set up to delete cookies when you close it. that will cause you to log our each time.

If you’re on your phone and are in different locations each time you open FR, yes, you do have to log in every time now, that started about a year ago.

Two things:
When you log in, look at the “Security/Convenience:” box. If you want to stay logged in, select “convenience.”
If that is what your setting already is, then you need to “whitelist” freerepublic.com. If you aren’t sure how to do that, tell us what you are using to delete cookies and someone can tell you what to do.
