Prince Harry will miss out on the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot with his brother Prince William at Sandringham to avoid upsetting his animal-loving wife Meghan. Their father Prince Charles will be at the shoot and Prince Williams son George may go along to catch the spectacle. Harry, 34, has taken part in the family event for more than 20 years, but Meghan, 37, strongly opposes blood sports and refuses to wear fur.

How many men dump a hobby because of their wives?
This stuff happens every day.
Does Meghan eat meat?
This marriage is not going to last - have to wonder who will get custody of the child when they split up. She might even return to the US. This is going to be a nightmare for the ‘proper’ Royal Family.
So that means no pest control at the house? Or some animals are ok to kill?
Whipped.
Yeah Harry...let a narcissist change your values and run your life....this wont end well for you....
Meant to add: does she wear suede/leather shoes, jackets, or use leather bags?
And I speak as a woman, ladies need to STOP demanding husbands or boyfriends give up their hobbies, sell their guns or maybe their baseball card collection. You aren’t their mom and this will kill a relationship quicker than you can blink.
Guys need to run like the wind as soon as someone they are dating tells them to stop (insert hobby or activity here).
Most wifes dont demand it. I do stuff to please my wife. If it means stopping something that I care magically about, all the better.
I KNOW married couples are not all that subtle. But most of us are reasonable.
You stop doing things you love to please your wife? That is pathetic. Does she keep your testicles in a jar on the mantle?
Sometimes renting is cheaper than buying.
She gets her meat from the grocery, where no animals are harmed.
IIRC, the “shoot” is just a bunch of royals standing around while servants release hordes of pigeons for them to blast away at with shotguns. Hundreds of birds are killed and there is nothing particularly sporting about it, imho.
“Sometimes renting is cheaper than buying.”
From a sexual perspective, most certainly that is a fact.
But from needing a full time loving relationship perspective, it’s not. I have been married 47 years and my wife only wanted me to do one thing which was to quit drinking. Aside from that, she’s stopped me from doing nothing. And the same here, I do not interfere with the things she loves to do.
My brother was emasculated shortly after marriage. He was forbidden to participate in his family’s (family of origin)activities such as Christmas dinners and similar events. He was forbidden to visit me for over 20 years. He retired to the family room with a TV remote control in one hand and a six pack in the other, became obese and died early. He confided in me years before his death that if he stood up to her she’d take him to court and clean him out, as she actually threatened that.
I said it happens.
I didnt say it was me. Well, once. I had a high school friend who was an obnoxious drunk. He used to show up at the house unannounced. When the kids were little my wife asked me to tell him to call before coming over.
Wow. I am such a pathetic pussy.
Why dont you just go take your low testosterone back to the nursing home. I think its time for bingo.
Megan puts a chastity device on him...All of the royals need a chastity device, so they can die off...
OR the hobby was fine while courting, maybe even a great couples activity but once married ..... not so fun now.
Pheasant, and I believe they’re driven to the shooters. Ever seen “Gosford Park”?
If the English won’t even defend THEMSELVES against the invading muslim hordes, why would you expect them to kill little animals?
Proper Royal Family? When was the last time they were proper? Even Victoria had scandals...
