Well, you don’t really get that beneft if I it’s a freeway/expressway. San Diego solved the MLK Boulevard issue by naming a freeway after him (the locals don’t call it that, racists that they are, they refer to it as the 94). That way residents/businesses don’t have to deal with changing addresses, etc.

Anytime I’m in an unfamiliar town I can always tell what neighborhood to stay away from by finding where Martin Luther King Blvd/St/Rd/Way is located.
