He walked out of the Leighton Criminal Courthouse in Chicago on Nov. 8 and had not returned by the time his guilty verdict was read later that same day, Cook County sheriff’s officials told the Chicago Sun-Times. So this dude is on trial for a criminal complaint and he walks out during the trial and no one makes any effort to stop him? Was he in custody or out on bail? I never knew you could just walk away.
