Potential Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg said Friday that Donald Trump’s presidency “cannot be helped” and was “dangerous” for the country.
The former New York City mayor also described the partial government shutdown, now at a record 35th day, as “a complete failure of presidential leadership.”
The billionaire businessman said that for fellow New Yorker Trump, “the art of the deal is simply cheating people and not caring about how badly they get hurt and now he’s doing it to the American people.” …

MEMORY LANE: Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Utah Sen. Mike Lee led filibusters of a 2013 budget bill that forced a govt shutdown Oct 1-17.
Democrats and their obedient media were gleeful, warning that Republicans would pay dearly at 2014 mid-terms.
(Yawn——lefty logic at its worst——snore).
What actually happened, the GOP base turned out in droves, Republicans swept to huge gains in both the House and Senate.....
Republicans had Senate control for the first time since 2006, putting Mitch McConnell into the Majority Leader’s role he holds today, years later.
Dangerous for the country? As a non-billionaire I probably live a very different life that Mr. Bloomberg. I fail to see how a booming economy, protecting our borders, defending our country and allies, etc. has created any danger.
Unless you’re a left wing political hack, then yes, your career is in danger.
If I remember correctly, Bloomberg was no great shakes as a mayor. Maybe the best thing for him would be to not comment on other’s mistakes.
The press used to make a big deal of him riding the subway to work.
And he isn’t arrested for sedition... why?
This doesn’t sound like expressing an opinion. This sounds like inciting people to remove an elected President because some butt-hurt, power-mad numbskull doesn’t happen to approve of him.
