The University of Florida's recently appointed chief diversity officer has launched a new podcast to promote “diversity and inclusion.” Each week, CDO Antonio Farias speaks with members of the UF community on “their story of belonging.” The podcast is titled “Level Up on Presence and Belonging.”
Farias said he hopes the podcast will shed light on unity and open up conversations about diversity," adding, "there’s no such thing as an expert on the topic of diversity. We want to hear from everyone,” according to the Independent Florida Alligator.
Despite Farias’ efforts, it is unclear how popular the podcast is on campus. At the time of publication of this article, all three episodes that have been released so far had a combined total of 77 plays on SoundCloud. The channel on which the podcast is available had five followers.

I’m an expert on diversity.
It’s total garbage. It’s a nice idea used as a trojan horse to undermine the culture.
Diversity is like alcohol. A little is beneficial, a lot will make you sick, too much will kill you.

The purpose of diversity programs is to inflict as much white guilt as possible.
The same democrat machine that buys digital subscriptions to the New York Times will give hits to the stupid diversity podcasts... Propping up fake illusion is a liberal profession.

Yep. I’m another UF alum and diehard Gator. I’ve never heard of this podcast. Now that I have, I won’t listen. I’d love to see the entire “diversity” department abolished and everybody who works for it fired......but of course, the administration and the Leftist PCers in it would never listen to us alums.
The value-add here is negative (value-subtract?). Tuition money diverted to, and students' time wasted on useless and counterproductive crap. And once the students graduate (often with some useless degree) they have been indoctrinated enough to carry that nonsense into the workplace and make it less efficient. Aggregate that impact nationally and the USA becomes less competitive in the global economy.
