I’d blame him and his husband for this transparent attempt to win over people with pop culture nonsense, but when the press picks it up and voters respond positively to it, can one entirely blame the politicians? This country elected Obama, after all. We are a country in crisis.

I am dealing with it by voicing my opinion and rejecting it. I really don’t care what year it is. My beliefs and morals do not evolve with the passing of time.
Why don’t you throw out a “bible-thumper” pejorative? Maybe throw out some more leftist trash talk while you’re at it. Maybe frame it as somebody else saying it like “twitter users say you’re a bible-thumper” or “democrats are saying you’re a bigot.” Coward. You make me sick.
