Woe to those who call good, evil, and evil, good.

You actually can be pefectly, fine asing God to destroy the wicked, doing these specific wicked things in,order to end them. You are doing so because you want justice administered and the evil to be halted.

Did someone tell her that Pro Life folks are aghast at aborting babies because of physical defects or illness or because it’s not a boy or a girl?

We don’t want our kids genetically enhanced.

It’s their side that values human life so little. They never get it.

School choice is their biggest fear.

Yeah, allowing a family to move their kid from a substandard school into a better one, rather than being forced by the government to stay in a crappy school, is EXACTLY like having a cure to syphilis and letting men suffer from it a decade or two longer just to see what happens.

Insane.

I dont know what the solution to bad schools are, but I’m confident that school choice will destroy the good schools.

Most Christian schools do not have better teachers than public schools. They are better because parents care a lot more on average, and the riffraff can be kept out.

If there is limited seating, but money for all, guess who might have to give up their seat.

Cindy C’s grades for Amy A’s and Willy White for Deborah Diversity.

The difference is that eugenics advocates were democrats and school choice advocates are not democrats.

Among other things, this is what can and does kill good public schools. By law, they have to accept any human of the right age who lives in the district. One or two “bad families” can wreak havoc on a school. I’ve seen it happen more than once. As a teacher you pray that they’ll move away. Families that can afford an alternative school will pull their good kids out to get them away from the bad ones.

Two bad kids in a class will take up 50-70% of a teacher’s time. Three or four in a class will guarantee that little learning will take place as long as they are there. If the kids are of a “protected class” or God forbid “handicapped”, the school’s hands are pretty much tied.

I’m not at all wealthy, I’m someone that sacrifices to put my child in a private school.

You are basically advocating “open borders” of private schools, which would absolutely destroy these schools. Import from Africa, become the same as Africa. Import from the Public School, become the same as the Public School.

Killing babies after they’ve been born is eugenics, dummycraps.

No, I am not. You may have misunderstood what I was saying. One of private schools’ strengths is that they can refuse admission to anyone. Public schools cannot. All I said was I saw the parents of well-behaved kids pull their kids from my public school because of what they (rightly, in my opinion) saw as out-of-control students sitting next to their children.

My point was and is, that public schools are required to take on all who live in their district (with the possible exception of kids who have been expelled from other schools). Any human between the ages of 5 or 6 and 18 (or 21 in the case of handicapped kids) must, by law, be provided a free public education. Kid can’t control himself and throws books, furniture, etc., the public school still has to take him or her and if the kid poses too great a threat, has to provide an appropriate education, no matter what the cost. And that cost has to come first. If a district has to lay off three teachers to provide for the education, so be it.

There are plenty of great public schools, but they can go south very quickly. I admire your willingness to sacrifice for your children’s benefit. It’s just too bad that the taxes you are required to pay for the public schools don’t benefit either you or your children.

Etymology of Boanerges

Name given by the Blessed Lord Jesus Christ to John and James, the two sons of Zebedee (Mark iii:17), from Galilean dialectal corruption of Hebrew bene reghesh “sons of rage” (interpreted in Greek as “sons of thunder”), from bene (see B’nai B’rith ) + reghesh “commotion, tumult, throng.” Applied figuratively to zealous or loud preachers.

He died for the 1 lost sheep of 99.

I’m always wary of Democrat “comparisons”. For example, Dems equate infanticide to a legitimate medical procedure that supports a woman’s “reproductive rights” that is essentially a “health” issue. They conflate illegal aliens with legal immigrants. Examples abound.
