My bff of 30+ years went off the rails during the 2016 election. We never really talked politics fully but knew where each other stood. She’d remarried to a rabid leftist a few years before the election. When she started singing the praises of the witch, I expected it. But when I pointed out that a very sick hitlary probably would die in office and she said Kaine would be an awesome replacement, I about puked. It went downhill quickly from there and she accused me of having a black heart for not supporting abortion.
No mas. Game over.
Now she spends her days defending hitlary on fakebook and fighting with anyone who’ll challenge her views. Shes alienated many friends and family but it doesn’t seem to matter. Sad really. I do not miss her

I wonder if he would have felt the same way before he had all his fame and money. It’s easy to say that when you can live comfortably the rest of your life. If you’re broke and waiting tables it’s a whole different ballgame.
