"Comrades!" he cried. "You do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. I dislike them myself. Our sole object in taking these things is to preserve our health. Milk and apples (this has been proved by Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a pig. We pigs are brainworkers. The whole management and organization of this farm depend on us. Day and night we are watching over your welfare. It is for YOUR sake that we drink that milk and eat those apples."

Unfortunately, there’s nothing saying they have to have a residence in their district
That why Mad Max can get away with not having to live in the cesspool that votes for her

because members of Congress have to secure residences in D.C. and in their district, they deserve more taxpayer money for their efforts. She could easily stay in her mommies basement, or the bar, and she should be able to find something nice in the DC slums, where she would fit right in.
Many before her have camped out in their office....no rent.
Tweetster should throw that back in her face.

I want to hear her cry if she had to live on my retirement, it’s not even a grand a month, she is given $14,500 a month, and she does very little of nothing! Whiny spoiled little bitch! God!

Less than two years in to her first term as a U.S. House Representative Her term is two years. Should this read "less than two months [into] her first term..."?

I suggest the taxpayers fund free housing for Congresscritters and Senators in the nation’s capital. Specifically:
1) Build dormitories for our Congresscritters near the Capitol in the style of Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express (the type of motel/hotel their constituents stay for business travel). Each room has bed, bath, desk, closet, chair, television and dresser. A lounge on the first floor.
2) All Congresscritters and Senators required to live in the dorm while Congress is in session.
3) No Congressman or Senator can own or rent another residence within 150 miles of the Capitol except those representing districts within the 150 mile radius.

We should just build a generic Congressional Dormitory where all the congress can stay when in Washington. You know, just like students that are away at school. And the best aspect of all this is maybe they will suddenly spend less time in DC and actually go home to their districts! I know, such a quaint idea.

Same w/ member pay. Members are paid more than avg - but job reqs 2 residences + we cant take tax deductions for work costs. No one wants to be the one to bring up increases, so instead ppl take advantage of insider trading loopholes & dont close them for the extra cash. 🤷🏽♀️ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) March 13, 2019

I suggest that they be accommodated in WWII barracks at a nearby military installation.
