At about 10:00 minutes a dummiewoman starts grilling Barr on the 3 day waiting period and as we approach the 12:00 minute mark she asks him point blank if he supports extending the waiting period past 3 days. He says no and the look on her face is precious.

I think it was in the Rush comments I read earlier, but it’s really true: Barr has the ability to put up with total idiots without getting flustered and without letting the idiots know that he knows they are idiots. It’s a rare ability, which is why most of us sit here on FR shouting demands and throwing tantrums all day when things aren’t done fast enough to suit.

But Barr’s approach is the best one. He will endure all their nonsense and enjoy a low stress life.

My thought watching all of this how shameful was the 2 year performance of Jeffleen Sessions. Shame, shame, shame, shame on you, Jeffleen. Barr demonstrates how a REAL Attorney General behaves.

Well, it’s a reasonable point about Sessions - but remember, ALL members of the US Senate and the vast majority of Members of Congress sit where they sit because they are bullsh*t artists, and that’s all they are.

Only three sitting US Senators, and zero sitting House members, have been elected President, and that’s for good reason. Of the three, at least two (and IMO all 3) were disasters in the White House.

This is what democracy looks like.
