I'm kind of a dinosaur. I don't wear a four day growth. The last time I tried I had to beat off women with a stick. I guess I now know now why my wife says, "No beards."

The thing that annoys the bejeebers out of me is that generic razors for men are between three and four times more expensive that generic razors for women. What is this?

Do generic razors for men have some magical blades from Krypton?

In the store where I buy them the only difference I see is generics for men are orange and yellow, while generics for women are pink.

I sense a class action lawsuit in my future. These days I just buy the pink ones but have to drive out to the private secret forest to shave. I don't want the boys who see me shave to think I shake hands with a limp wrist. It's just so humiliating, but frugal.

I had to stop using Gillette when they told me I was a rapist and told my wife they were for her only if she is extra special fat i.e. a BBW, yes attractive but large and willing to stand for a photo array in Times Square while modeling her latest bikini.

I hope against hope Gillette isn't the manufacturer of the pink generic razors I have to use in secret. If that is so, please don't tell me. I don't want to go back to when I needed to take out a second mortgage so I could afford generic razors for men.

"I’ve been getting quite good results with a Van der Hagen safety razor."

I like Van Der Hagen, which is easily found at my local grocery chain for I think about $2.79 for 5 blades, or I bought a hundred Russian Astra from Amazon which are good for about 7/8 shaves for me. Baili blades (Chinese I think ) are great, higher than Astra. I use Aveeno hand lotion as shaving cream.

Costco sells Gillette blades, just at reduced prices.

Costco has Gillette blades and their own Kirkland brand. I go there 1-2 times a week. My concern is who makes the Kirkland brand.

Ps I was getting the triple blade cheaper from amazon when costco stopped selling triple blades Now they sell their new improved 4-5 or whatever. Which is unnecessary

Feather safety razor. Blades are ~$0.25 each. Anyone here still buying Gillette razors/blades is a moron.
