I have a Gillette razor I have owned for years. I haven’t bought any new blades since Gillette got woke. I looked at different razors and blades. I have been using a Harry’s razor and blades and am happy with that. I get a closer shave with fewer nicks and cuts. Gillette’s mistake woke me to the opportunity to upgrade to a better razor.

“Drop Gillette, it’s overpriced junk made by a woke company.”

Harry’s politics is probably no better. I think their five-blade razor is comparable and maybe better than Gillette’s. I switched to them for price, mainly.

Clark Howard uses the cheapest razors he can find then cleans and dries them after every use. He claims that he can get a month out of each razor. I tried it and I didn’t get a month but I can get 2 to 3 weeks. He said blades go dull from pitting and rust, not your beard.

DSC provides 5 cartriges at what ever frequency I want for $4 each shipment. I had to cut back on how often I recieved a shipment due to how long the razors were lasting.

I dropped Gillette for Schick. Equivalent product with the SJW attitude (or any that I am yet aware of).

Store bought razors are expensive my friend. Also, the DSC comercial about how difficult it is to obtain them in a store is very accurate IMO.

I don’t use their razors, they have priced themselves out of my market years ago. No going back.

I am boycotting Gillette and will never buy anything from P&G again.

I had ordered from Harry’s, but then saw that they did the same crap; so cancelled immediately.

I happened to tune in Clark Howard some years back. He had tried out the Gillette Fusion the past week, and was quite impressed with it.

Except for the price.

I've been using a DE for a first pass, then using up my supply of multiblades for a second pass. Safer for the more "complicated" areas of the face/neck where the DE would tend to nick or scrape.

I rinse the DE head in a small jar of alcohol, and wipe down the exposed blade edges. Likewise, I just wipe down the multiblades themselves, avoiding the comfort strips.

I try to get a week out of the DE, and a month out of the multiblade.

I buy single-blade disposables from CVS... probably a year’s worth of shaving for around $5.

I get double-bladed disposables from Wal*Mart. Good for at about 10 shaves/disposable. 10 blades for $1.87. Yes, I'm poor.

“Dollar Shave razors are the same as Dorco razors. You can go to Amazon and get a pack of Dorco 10 pack of razors and one handle (six-blade) razors for $20.99.”

I looked at Dollar Shave and thought the razors were the same Dorcos I’ve been using for years. You cannot beat the cost or quality of the Dorco. The blades also last a long time.

I am going to try costco, Kirkland brand blade/ razor when I run out of Gillette. Problem is I don’t know who really makes them.
