This does nothing to end the epidemic.
It emboldens the target demographics to be ever more perveted.
If they had quarantined all those perverts back in the early 80’s none of this would have happened.
The original prescription with PrEP was to use it in combination with condoms to be effective. But the predictable real-world response was to go back to the 70's style condomless "barebacking" with abandon, forgetting that there are many other diseases out there not stopped by PrEP, many of which are becoming drug resistant.
