See your next line for the answer:

I already knew the answer. It was rhetorical and meant to refute your claim that "individual expressed opinions" don't matter. They do.

Nobody is listening to me nor do my opinions reach (or get seen by) more than a few people.

Let's face it. You rarely venture an opinion. Yet you have somewhat of a following and some influence. Your opinion does matter, if only in the small way you describe, as does mine in my small "circle of influence".

Thing is, circles of influence add up and work to shape opinion. Our small corner of the internet undoubtedly presents our collective opinion to the world. Does everybody see it? No. Do some? Yes.

Personally my opinion about Trump isn't in the least influenced by anything I read here or anywhere. Articles and posts alike.

I call shenanigans. You may not admit it, but your opinion was come to by taking in information about Trump and what he's done and is all about. Where did you get that data input, Mr Roboto?

I bet you got a lot of it right here on FR.

Do you mean to say that if you had seen enough clever posts or articles or blogs dragged out of the sewer about how great Hillary was... why then you would have been convinced to vote for her?

Me? Never. I know better. But plenty of people don't. Millions of people were convinced to vote for her, though. How did that happen? Information, indoctrination, listening to "individually expressed opinions" over a lifetime and in the short term, along with the suppressing and de-legitimizing contrary "individual expressed opinions".

The derps know how to play the information game. Our side is just now catching on. Trump knows.

Information wars are real. Propaganda wars are real. They work, for good or ill. That's why, I think, what I do on the forbidden thread is important (in it's admittedly small way).

We are currently in a world-wide information and propaganda war to sway and form "public opinion", which in turn can affect what Trump and his people will be able to do to eliminate our enemies.

So, to sum up.

"Individual expressed opinion" is not only necessary to restore and keep liberty, but the freedom to express opinion is a goal unto itself.

The founders knew what they were doing.

Observation of the world.
Hillary is Hillary and Trump is Trump. Both known quantities.
No prompting required.

Y'all not worthy.

Were you "convinced" to vote for Trump?

We are currently in a world-wide information and propaganda

Trump and his people will be able to do to eliminate our enemies.

Tom Clancy meets Matrix meets Game Of Thorns.

Actually, on some microscopic scale I'm sure your point is valid.

But you've admitted none of that bunk swayed you in the least.
