A blind autistic singer has won applause the world over after an astonishing performance on America's Got Talent that left audience members and judges alike open-mouthed in shock.
Kodi Lee, 22, from California, appeared on the show on Tuesday night, accompanied by his mother, Tina, who explained that her son developed a love of music, and an incredible singing talent, 'very early on' in his life, sharing that she knew he was 'an entertainer' from a young age.
'We found out that he loved music really early on,' she said. 'He listened and his eyes just went huge. And he started singing, and that's when I was in tears, because I realized he is an entertainer.

But only if you’re interested in watching the performance instead of the end of the show...
Great Post!
Sometimes in this world an imperfection is perfection.
Yeah that made me cry too.
Did you see the magician? I was dumbfounded with what he did.
I’ll watch it after the Yankees game is over, which should be soon.... except the Padres just LOADED the bases in the top of the 9th.
No I only watched this video. I don’t watch tv shows too much anymore. Nothing wrong with this show though.
I have never dealt with an autistic person but it is surprising to me that the loud noise didn’t phase him as it does with so many. And he didn’t freak out about being hugged and touched.
Supposedly there are only 25 savants in the world in all areas.
That mother’s love was an inspiration.
I’m a big Leon Russell fan. His rendition of Leon’s “A Song for You” was touching. I’m sure Leon would have been touched.
Thanks for sharing this!
Great post...
that was so moving.
This young man immediately reminded me of Ray Charles but with more disabilities.
It should also serve as a reminder of why abortion is so evil, especially when such dna disabilities will eventually be discovered, allowing the parents to decide to end the child's life.
Look at this video. This kid’s the best I’ve ever seen.
And 3:35 is astonishing.

Susan Boyle comes to mind. I will never believe that they didn’t tell at least Simon ahead of time that the frumpy awkward woman who later would be diagnosed with Asperbergers could sing like an angel.
Thats probably from years of his mother working with him.
Yep, I remember her.......she was wonderful
I thought of her too. And then there's this......
Killard Schoolhouse Choir singing A Christmas Hallelujah.
An autistic girl sings this.
