As we get older in life, we discover something very important about every endeavor...work, politics, organizations, school, friendships, athletics, hobbies, you name it. Those who started young, or "a long time ago" always have a position of seniority in the activity. Those who come in later are supposed to "pay their dues".
If someone cuts in the line of life, everyone around harbors resentment against that person, if not outright hatred, even if the person has exceptional talent and/or works extremely hard to excel. The rule of life is: You Don't Cut In Line. And, society generally enforces that rule, especially in the workplace AND politics.
Donald Trump was never really a politician. He was always a businessman and not the best one at that. However, for some reason, he decided to run for President, promised to do some things millions of people have been waiting for and the establishment has refused to do -- because they've been there in politics a long time -- and they're going to do what THEY want to do, not what the people who voted for them want. He started VERY late and shot right to the top. THAT is why they hate him. It is not really the policies, it's the fact that he has NOT been a politician all of his life and who the hell does he think HE is to run for President and, oh God no, win. So many people from all strata of the political spectrum from bottom to top and the propagandists in the media laughed, mocked and told us there was NO way he was going to win (because he hadn't been doing politics for years like many others and in their minds could NOT cut in line).
Well, he proved them wrong. It's not so much his policies, personality, intelligence or anything else they deceitfully claim, it's the fact that he cut in the line of life. As a result, to all who have been "paying their dues", hatred for Trump has no bounds.
Because he is effective and is willing to do whatever it takes.

Because most are to lazy to think for themselves, no comment from any of them till the meme for the day has been rolled out.
It has nothing to do with “paying dues,” and everything to do with traitorous politicians having sold their fellow countrymen out to foreign interests. Trump “the Outsider” is about to tip their profitable apple carts. That’s what it’s all Nout.
Nope...it’s because he’s tipping over their cushy apple cart....and, because he’s a threat to their very game.
He’s promised to expose all of the DC corruption.
They don’t like that.
That’s why they don’t like him.
They could give a flip if anyone cuts in line....they just want them to toe the DS, corrupt line....and DJT doesn’t play that game.
Don’t let them make it seem like they just started hating Republicans. They were treating W as illegitimate before 9/11. They were calling the Tea Party racists long before Trump even declared.
America is spiritually bankrupt. It’s our GODLESSNESS that is destroying all we value right before our eyes.

I think people hate him because there is a resentment against his success and he is always in a business suit and says “You’re fired.” People don’t like that because many think they have undeservedly been fired, and who the hell does he think he is. Now he is give everybody in America a job but there is still that 70’s attitude of F’You. Now this is mainly just about people who FEEL and don’t really think. It’s about people who feel they haven’t measured up in their life so screw him.
I believe that they feel like a jilted prom date. They thought he was one of them and when he ran as a pubbie they went insane at being rejected.

You’re right to a point. The run of the mill Liberal hates him because they have been told to hate him by the media and Leftists of all stripes and because they are unable to discern or think critically.

You have stated some core truths. I wish that were the whole story. There are two other reasons:
1) Bureaucracy-minded people hate him because he promised to cut into the bureaucracy and make it produce results in favor of America. Bureaucrats are only concerned with maintaining their phoney-baloney jobs. For instance, the FBI is now far more Bureau than it is Investigation. The CIA is far more Agency than it is Intelligence.
2) He has the wholehearted support of Bible believing Christians. For decades now, the greatest phobia of leftists is that people who believe the Bible will get into positions of power and bring on Armageddon just to make their Bible come true. This really causes them to gnash their teeth.
All one has to do is listen, especially between the lines, to realize that DJT has these people beside themselves with rage and anguish for these reasons.
Snobs from the coasts are doubly incensed at orange man’s unrefined manner of speech. They largely cannot see past even that.
I think its more like they were poised to flip the courts irreversibly and they thought they had 8 more years of rule at least. Their propaganda arm, the MSM assured them they had 8 more years. In that time, they could have gone a long way toward accomplishing their longstanding goal of making us just like Western Europe.
Then Trump happened. Not only did he win, he pierced their Blue Wall. He demonstrated that they might not have the Midwest in their pocket and if they don’t have that, they’re going to find it awfully tough to win the White House in the future. Then Trump got in office and set about obliterating every single last thing Obama did. Worse still, instead of sitting there like a punching bag like they are used to from Establishment Republicans, Trump actually hits back when they attack him. That was more than they could take.
You make a valid point, but you’re wrong to say this his “cutting in line” is the only reason for the animosity directed at him.
It most definitely is his policies that’s the primary reason why he is so vilified. He’s a nationalist and almost everyone else running the country is a globalist. He threatens their power base. He threatens their political existence.
And I can’t believe you think he wasn’t a successful businessman. He most definitely was.
