Just go on ebay and search for vintage stereo receivers, then narrow down by price/etc.

I think any stereo store would have such a system.
Go into a store and tell them what you are looking for.
I think they have fancy stuff, but also basic system, as what you are looking for.

You are probably giving me some good advice. Confucius Say:The green Willow bends and survives.
While the dry oak remains rigid and breaks away.
It’s easy for me to advise others on their problems, but it doesn’t always work in reverse. Thanks.

Start shopping at your local and nearby thrift shops. Your persistance will pay off.

"Craigslist or yard sales. $10."
I got an incredible Yamaha "Natural Sound" receiver for three bucks at a yard sale. Incredible booming speakers at another yard sale: 5 bucks. 20 years later they are still going strong.

One other option is a pawn shop. I picked up a great little Pioneer tape player for $10, and it works.
If you try to buy a used setup, be sure to check it for functionality before you buy it. That is, plug it in, hook up speakers, try the buttons, etc.
And the comment about bluetooth is correct: you don't have to use it to run your system. Bluetooth is just a convenience you could use. In fact, if you ever decide to use some of the new bluetooth earbuds, it could be a boon for you.

Go pick one off of eBay. They are all detailed. I've bought 2 New ones in the last 5 years, for different parts of the property. Just go do it.😀

I’ve been looking for something like that; most of my stuff is on MP3 now, but I’d like to play CDs and radio too.

My laptop is plugged into my 70’s era stereo along with a CD drive and Garrard turntable.
Hardly use the latter two since youtube has almost anything in my LP or CD collection.
My grandfather’s 1947 Westinghouse radio phonograph has amazing monoraul sound. Must be the 17 vacuum tube chassis.

Have you ever heard The Introit-Kyrie Requiem Op 48 by Gabriel Faure’, when accompanied by the children’s choir, or my other Faure’ favorite, the Pavane Op 50.?
Both have haunting and heavenly qualities.
Try it, you’ll like it!

There are multiple all-in-one systems with separate speakers selling for well under $200 on Amazon - they all have AM/FM and CD. Might want to try looking up the following:
Sharp XL-HF203B Hi-Fi Component Stereo Speaker System with High Resolution Audio - $149.93
Sony Micro Hi-Fi Stereo Sound System with Bluetooth Wireless Streaming NFC, CD Player, AM/FM Radio, Mega Boost, USB Playback & Charge, AUX Input, Remote Control - $149.99

As many have stated you can get a 80’s stero amp with separate tuner for under $100 on eBay. I have purchased a few Sanyos (Japan) from 1984 or 1985. You can also find stereo receivers. Might look for a late 80”s Onyko, Pioneer or Marantz. EBay is king for this.
