And the corollary is that if you send in your DNA for a genealogy you may find some family member arrested for a crime they had previously gotten away with.

You the murderer don't have to, all it takes is a family member to enter their DNA into the data bank and then the field of potentials is narrowed down dramatically.

Once positive hits are made, then the real thorough investigation can get started.......
