Prince Harry and Meghan have been damned today after spending £2.4million of public money doing up their new home in the grounds of Windsor Castle with the cost expected to balloon to £3million.

The newlyweds moved out of Kensington Palace this spring amid reports of a rift with Prince William and his wife Kate, whose joint Royal Foundation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was also broken up last week.

The £2.4million 'substantial overhaul' of Frogmore Cottage - a gift to the couple from the Queen - was approved by Her Majesty but it is still not complete with the costs set to rise by up to £600,000 because of landscaping and more decorating.

The spending emerged as the Royal Household's 'Sovereign Grant' accounts were published today, following a year in which the Sussexes and the Cambridges have been dogged by reports of a major feud.

It’s surely an ugly house but with a yard large enough for Nigel, Prince of Mulattos, to roam safely.

Another zinger for the Duke & Duchess of Succotash. How much longer before she takes Baby Succotash and flees from the Prince of Dubious Parentage and back to ‘Merica?

And since the British Royal Family is absurdly wealthy, you’d think they’d spend their own money.

“The British royal family has an estimated net worth of $88 billion, according to business consultancy firm Brand Finance. Still, that monarchy is far from being the richest royal family in the world. Aug 18, 2018”

How much money do the Clintons have and yet they embezzled charity funds to pay for Chelsea’s wedding

Some of the best words of advice my dad gave me.....if you want to know what a girl will look like as she gets older, look at her mom.

That’s what my mom said also. She got what she wanted, a “royal baby” and now she’ll take off.

WIKI Frogmore Cottage is a Grade II listed house in the grounds of Frogmore House built in 1801 at the direction of Queen Charlotte on the Frogmore Estate, part of Home Park, Windsor, Berkshire, England. It is currently the home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their son Archie.

The cottage was originally known as Double Garden Cottage and was listed in Queen Charlotte's1801 accounts for her garden as having been built for £450 by a Mr. Bowen.[3]Queen Victoriahad breakfast at the cottage on 28 June 1875 and noted an "immense number of little frogs" which she found "quite disgusting".[4] The cottage has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since October 1975.

The cottage was a retreat for Queen Charlotte and her unmarried daughters. The theologian Henry James Sr. and his family lived at the cottage in the 1840s.[7] A personal secretary of Victoria's, Abdul Karim, moved to Frogmore Cottage in 1897 with his wife and father.Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna of Russia in exile from her native Russia stayed there in the 1920s.

In the early 21st century the cottage was a series of five separate units housing Windsor estate workers.[11] In 2019, the house was converted to serve again as a 10-bedroom, single-family home, at a reported cost from the Sovereign Grant of £2.4 million.[12][13] The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had earlier held their wedding reception at nearby Frogmore House, moved from Nottingham Cottage to Frogmore Cottage in spring 2019, before the birth of their first child.[14][15]

It is so hard to believe that so many Brits want to keep the royal family in place. Such a waste of money! As all kings and queens are! I was watching OLD movie last night, Errol Flynn as Robin Hood. The king had a huge banquet going on, many guests, stuffing themselves... while the towns people starved. People of England work so hard, the royals just slurp it all up.

A friend of mine had the best term yet without being too un-pc. She had the potential.

So far Megan's outward changes show she did have the potential. In her case it was far less than obvious.

How much did the wedding cost? Who paid for it? Never mind, we know...
