149 bucks to stand in line for an hour?
An hour? Hahahahaha
“average wait for Millennium Falcon hovers around a modest 60min “
You got a better deal with the entertainment from a puppy.
it is just too d***ed expensive
(I do realize it costs a lot to run a big theme park like Disneyland, but the ticket prices are still too expensive for most Americans except maybe on a VERY occasional or once-in-lifetime basis.....
If I were Disney, I’d also try to make it more affordable for youth to visit, since youth will be your repeat customers ....
similar problem now with many professional sports games, which we don’t attend anymore anyway ( at least the NFL) due to their horrible politics (something we go to entertainment events to get away from ...in the first place!)... but MLB, for example, used to let the kids in for a quarter ...AND the ballplayers would stay after and sign baseballs or cards for the kids (free0...and chat with them, too...nice, like...to encourage the kids...)...the kids grew up continuing to attend the games, at least until recent years when the prices went sky-high!)
Yes, it appears that way. I haven’t been there in many years and didn’t know how much it costs nowadays to go there.
Oh ,I want a Puppy!
Perhaps a cross between a
Chihuahua and a Pit Bull.
.
If it turns on me
I need to “Correct him!”
“havent visited there since 1969.”
Our family of 5 was there in 1966. Cost for one day, including food, about $50.True, fifty years ago, but still affordable for a middle class family.
Cost of avoiding this whole bit: $0.00
They probably still good...but only on “Transgender Pride Day”.
I wonder why dog genes express in such wildly different ‘breeds,’ while cats are mostly just more cats. Are dogs more ‘fit’ in terms of evolutionary potential? Or are cats at a dead end?
Some of the side things that Disney has been doing have really upset folks.
I’ve read a bit about this and the press is shying away from something: Disney made their Star Wars land pretty free of actual Star Wars. Wanna see Darth Vader? Too bad, original trilogy characters are intentionally left out. Also, there are very few attractions there, sounds like it’s mostly just shopping with one ride. So some of the excitement of Star Wars fans is certainly tempered by that.
What’s the date on that? 1970, 1971?
Why blackout days? What are they for?

Another park that we frequented was Knott's Berry Farm. We liked to go there on Friday nights for a chicken dinner and then visit the ghost town. At the time, admission was free.
My mother worked at the Farm's Chicken Dinner Restaurant as a waitress in 1942 and her boss was Cordelia Knott, wife of the founder and owner (and conservative activist) Walter Knott. In the 1950's, some of the chickens served there came from my uncle's ranch.
Orlando is on one of my routes and even though my plane is packed very few kids and none of them seem to be going to DL. Coming back a lot of disgruntled folks.
I was stationed there...worked at AFTAC, the building right on A1A.
