I read the other day that there is a major upgrade coming to Gab. I don't recall the date, but I do recall it is supposed to happen in July.

Let us hope it is just this.

I jumped into the Gab bandwagon several months ago. To use Dissenter.

It never really caught on with me. Free Republic works better. When I see something I want to comment on - I FReep it.

BTTT. It is clear that Gab is doomed. All the other Social Media sites have ganged up to silence it.

Then there was those types using Gab to promote perversity and Nazism.

Down in Northern California. Kinda. Site overhauled for introduction on the 4th. Tried to log on. Got to new login page, and did so. No ability to browse, etc., just a compilation of my posts. Then tried to log out: no dice. Not able to log out. Using Mac (yeah, I know...), and iPhone (yeah, I know...). Hope those working to straighten things out find this useful/helpful.

The problem with Gab is that their technical staff are bad at what they do.

The safe assumption is that Gab screwed something up. As I believe they were in the middle of migrating to a new codebase, I would bet heavily that they had serious problems in the transition.
