I sprouted my seeds...peas and beans. VERY successful. Popping shucked peas while I'm typing.

Sauteed green beans in soy and toasted sesame oil....To die for.

The next day....did chicken and pea pods in the soy and sesame mix. Very addicting.

I planted two zucchini/cucs plants this year - last few years I have battled that squash worm and I have been unable to get the plants off the ground as it were. This year I planted one cucumber and one squash plant and I planted them in big planters instead of the raised garden bed where I had planted in the past. The plants took off!! They looked great. I found 3 cucumbers last week and 2 squash over the weekend. Today, I found holes in the cucs and the squash were rotting on the vine. I HATE gardening!!!! I so wanted cucs and squash, especially squash. Nothing tastes better than squash cooked in a cast iron skillet. most frustrating thing in the world!

As a side, I have 4 tomato plants that are doing well. Two of the plants are now 6 feet tall.....WTH is up with that??? No idea but the maters are doing well.

Green beans are a human right.

If you prefer brown beans over green beans, you must nevertheless purchase green beans by government edict.

If you grow and sell black beans, you must also sell green beans, by edict of government.

People who don’t like green beans, or say anything negative about green beans, are racist.

Glad your tomatoes are doing well. Sorry to hear about the cucs. Wonder what was eating them?

Slugs destroyed half of my first planting of green beans. I also have a problem with a lack of sunlight to some trees on the east and west of my garden.

I'm really excited about my live Christmas tree though. It's only about 2 feet tall and will look like Charlie Brown's tree this Christmas. It probably won't support a decoration.

It’s pretty frustrating! I have had great luck with my hot peppers, ghost & such have been great crops for me this year. I probably have 30 ghost peppers on my plants and maybe 10 for the lesser hots like habenero. They are thriving this year. But other than the peppers and maters, my other crops are blah!

I saute them in olive oil and eat them with potatoes and meat or fish. I also grew some sweet peas too.
