Germany hasn’t really had their 9/11 or 7/7 (UK bombings) or Bataclan massacre.
I do know they’re very reliant on their massive railway infrastructure - which is incredibly insecure. There’s no security checks, you can get on any train with your bags without anyone knowing what is in them.
Every time I’m in Germany (frequently) we use the trains to go all over the place. There’s not much you could do if somebody brought a load of weapons aboard, there’s nowhere to go. I recall an attempt a few years back, it was extremely lucky that the gun jammed and the jihadi was taken down. I’m really surprised there hasn’t been another attempt AND that the security is still so lax.

I recently moved back to Germany after having been away since the late 90’s. Here’s my initial take: Germany’s coming problem is going to be one they may very well lose: unassimilated “refugees”.
It may be different in eastern Germany ( I have heard about it, but not been there yet), but the number of unassimilated defiant Muslims in the cities are really staggering, and they make no secret what they want: to take over Germany.
I hadn’t been here for a few years, but the whole look of the place is changing. They loiter in/around the cathedrals attempting to disrupt religious events. At Frankfort International, I watched muslim recruiters attempting to convert people hanging out in the terminal using video clips on cell phones, and harassing women at baggage claim…and that was the first day I was back.
That is in the cities, but even in the small villages they are here: They don’t work, subside on state welfare benefits, and hang about all day/night in groups…while the women (in full hijab) wander about with 5-6 kids in tow.
They are like the elephant in the room no one knows what to do with. If/when the Germans wake up to the internal threat, it is likely to get pretty violent. But that may be years from now, or they may just collapse, who knows?
Punishment should be exactly the same. Guilty. Stand over here until the train comes. See ya! Shove...
