A heated debate about market stalls was disrupted by a foul smell and furious finger-pointing at a Kenyan regional assembly on Wednesday, local reports say. "Honourable Speaker, one of us has polluted the air and I know who it is," Julius Gaya reportedly told Homa Bay county assembly. But the member he accused of farting is said to have replied: "I am not the one. I cannot do such a thing in front of my colleagues."

Two lawyers are in an elevator and one farts.

Several years back I was attending an Autocad class where a fellow classmate let go with some of the nastiest, paint peeling farts imaginable that permeated the whole room. To top it off he sat there snickering about it. After about the 3rd time the instructor scolded him in front of the whole class to the point this guy turned red with embarrassment.
A couple days later I had digestive system issues and just could not help myself and let go with one in class that mimicked what the other guy did. Talk about another royal but chewing and threatening the expel this other guy, as everyone just knew he did it. I never told a soul back then I was the culprit.

Mr. Inspectorette were in an elevator once, when a kid, probably 13-14 years old got on, stood in front of us and ripped a silent but deadly. That three floors down took forever. Thought I was going to barf. The kid thought it was funny.
I believe that's the time-honored precedent that rules in this case.
