I wonder what the sheriff meant when she said she hit it in the backside with a “bear round” and it ran off.
I would think a bear round would be a 12 gauge sabot slug. Must mean something different in California.

If I have to shoot a bear I’m going with Remington Copper Solid Sabot slugs. They go in 1/2” size and come out 3/4” or larger.
