There have been so few hurricanes so far this season, which deflates the AGW windbags; they feel the need to flog ol’ Dorian like a rented mule. So now they want the Carolinas, as well as Florida to be quaking in fear. Next they’ll be warning the folks in Maine to put plywood over their windows. Look out, Prince Edward Island! Here comes Dorian!

Now that made me laugh, though also I couldn’t help feeling a pang of compassion for all the rented mules who ever lived.

Well, the 11 am path has the hurricane headed for Wilmington, NC. however, there is an average 5 day forecast error of 205 miles, which is reasonable considering the uncertainties of hurricanes and their steering currents.

Three day forecasts of hurricanes are quite accurate.

The Red Sox will win the world series before Dorian reaches Maine. And we don’t put plywood on houses, just blue tarps and tyvek siding.
