Where’s Bahama man looting the booze? Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink.

Time and time again and people still ignore warnings. They had plenty of time to leave. There were dirt cheap couple hundred dollar plane tickets being offered. If those with sea worthy boats had sailed to the west side of Florida or elsewhere to safe harbor, they’d have a boat with supplies along with someplace to live while their homes are being rebuilt.

Look around the neighborhood and see which homes are still standing. May not be much to salvage inside but the structure is probably livable. If you build a shanty, don’t expect it to last long.

Yes, indeed prep for disasters. Food and water in a concrete structure might have been there the next day vs. a cute little wooden beachy house.

Since hurricanes do most of their damage in coastal areas that tend to be upscale neighborhoods, I always wondered if looters from Baltimore, or DC head south when they hear the news of an impending storm.
