Communication totally different in 2001. Survivors waited on line to use pay phones. Most people used pagers not cell phones. Though BlackBerry worked that day. Bush was circling on Air Force One which had no access to communication. CNN had a live feed at the towers 3 min after first plane hit.
I can’t say I remember whether I had a cell phone yet or not. Surprising to not be sure of something like that.
I do remember the jets flying overhead in NYC.
I remember being glad they were there but then realizing that if they were actually used for anything it would be to shoot down a plane full of mostly Americans!! So that was not good.
What a lousy day.
Amazing what you save. I saved the gauze used after I gave blood.
Who knows why humans save certain things.
It gets so hard to remember life before modern technology, even for those of us who lived for a long time without cell phones and the WWW etc.

I used to equate how good a leader would be by looking at his personal life.
I realized there did not seem to be a consistent correlation.
I don’t approve at all of his actions in his personal life but I will not vote based on it anymore. It didn’t work.
One would think there was a more direct correlation.
Amen - I know some folks who came to Jesus as a result of the aftermath of 911...grasping the innocent lives snuffed out and the determination and faith of those who worked mightily and expressed their own faith.
