He was with those dying horrible deaths that day. Actually, He is with all of us all the time. Some refuse Him.
Reconsidering the free will experiment.
Good post!
Thank you!
“Up on His throne in heaven observing everything and intervening where He knew it was needed. “
Did he ensure that the 19 hijackers made their flights?
Absolutely.
You cannot know the purpose of His plan.
You wrote this? Very nice.
He made sure one missed it and told the story.
Bits and pieces I gathered.
Share freely and add to it if you want. I seek no credit.
God was also opening the eyes of the deeply blind and deceived of the worlds enemy....far too many continue to be willfully deceived and blind and lead others to be like them.
Nice, but not my kind of music.
Where was man?
There is evil in this world, and God does not stop all of it, not only because he has given us free will, but because, just as in Mark, 14:21, “For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born., there are some evil things that will be done, BECAUSE of the evil in the world. We are not robots. And the world goes as the LORD has predicted it. It gets worse and worse until the end comes. We would not need a Savior, if it were possible that there be no evil.
His thoughts are not our thoughts.
He allowed it- He allows man to do whatever they wish because that is what free will is- Some will use free will wisely, some like the cowardly scum that did 9/11 attacks abuse free will to the detriment of mankind-
Let me rephrase that- He allows man to do ALMOST whatever they wish- God does intervene in some cases- However, man decided he wanted death and destruction rather than obey God’s orders, and so God allowed him that choice since man has free will- He even allowed the angels and Satan free will and some rebelled-
God allows man to suffer the consequences of sin- He wanted us NOT to eat of the fruit- He warned us- but we ignored him (and yes- Everyone one of us would have made the same choice because sin has an allure to it- but the possibility for choosing sin had to be there in order for free will to be a reality-)
We Still however have free will and what matters NOW is- Do we accept Him and His Son as Savior? Or do we get angry and reject Him because we think the effects of sin is unfair? Do we get on our own moral high horse and accuse God of being morally unfair? Or do we humble ourselves and accept His word?
He has provided a way of escape to ALL who turn to Him- but it must be doen in a free will choice- still to this day-
Exactly. This kind of thinking is strange. He gave us Free Will. We aren’t puppets on a string.
That’s like asking “where was God the day Jesus was beaten and crucified....”
