That may be correct, but i think we are all glad we were not flying on the 2 flights where it crashed.

Have final reports been released regarding those crashes?

One more thing. I’d like the FAA chief to fly those versions of the 737 MAX without knowing which one had the modifications.

FFS, take your meds. and try to pick up a few more scary buzzwords. you have worn that one out. especially since I’m positive that you couldn’t define it in the first place.

I dunno where you get your information, but my source has been Leehams and a couple of pilots for one of the major airlines.

Well, if he still has some of that F-15 pilot in him...

I was raised by a pilot (an American one) and taught to have critical thinking skills that you seem to be in short supply of.

You had many opportunities on the thread to state your case to others in an intelligent and literate manner: maybe point to facts about the software, and explain how the plane was truly innovative as opposed to a haphazardly executes update on an old model.

But instead you resort to curse words and childish tropes. Bless your heart and enjoy your flight ✈️.

Haphazardly executed* update on an old model I meant.

I don’t have to make a case. I’m not trying to establish guilt, or hang an American corporation before the NTSB report is even written. you are.

And, I’m also not trying to claim some sort of supreme-being knowledge because my daddy was a pilot. so weird!

you don’t have to read a blog or have “special friends” to know that the only 737max aircraft that crashed were operated by third world airlines with safety, maintenance, and training issues.

A lot of US-based airline pilots were pissed off about not being notified of all the (key) features of the plane. Particularly safety features (or lack thereof rather.) Boeing charged extra money for what should have been essentials and sold them “additional” perks. And for the umpteenth time. The 737 MAX was not a ‘new’ model. It was their quicker, cheaper alternative after rejecting plans to build a new plane model altogether. Certification was rushed as well.

The 737 MAX has numerous other problems. Like not being able to operate well in high altitude airports like Denver.

“Boeing has called 737 MAX 8 unsuitable for high-elevation airports like DIA”
https://www.denverpost.com/2019/04/11/boeing-737-max-8-denver-airport/

These are things even Boeing admits to.

whatever this thing is that you found in the denver post has absolutely nothing to do with either the lion air or ethiopian airlines crashes.

UTTERLY UNRELATED.

it is quite emblematic, however, of your creepy and clinical hangup about boeing.

and no one gives a damn if you think the max was a new airplane, or the same plane with different paint; the vast majority of the airplane buying world thinks that is an idiotic idea, because it’s selling like crazy.

I really don’t understand why you’re on this jihad, or why boeing is the target of your bomb-belt

Quite the contrary John Browdie, if you REALLY supported Boeing, you would want any bad apples in its leadership to be taken out and brought to justice for their negligence.

“Make Boeing Great Again.”

Not

“Keep Boeing Deep State Corrupt Again”

The pilots I know I’m certain are a different sort than the “special friends” you like to hang with.

The fool is a troll. The only thing that he knows or cares about is the nationality of pilots. The dimwit thinks that the entire MAX fleet has been grounded for months because 3rd world pilots are too ignorant to fly them.
