This just proves how stupid government regulations are. Instead of 80 miles per gallon you burn 40 miles per gallon....
European car guys have always known that Euro mpg testing is unrealistic, and I believe they’ve also known that Euro emissions testing has always been similarly unrealistic.
While living overseas I had a 4WD club cab Isuzu pickup (built in the came factory in Thailand as the Obamamotors Colorado) with a 4-cyl. Isuzu diesel engine. It got 38 mpg around town. I tried to bribe everybody at the EPA to get them to let me bring it to the states but no dice.
