No. 16 Billion was the previous record agri buy by the Chinese. The deal just made is for 40 Billion guaranteed with proviso’s for an additional 10 Billion.
And what happens to the additional $400 BILLION Annual trade deficits?
$50 Billion is 1/9th of trade deficit.
Sorry it is not a deal to make me happy.
This will buy China time until election 2020.
