Fall At The Ranch

We have a lot of politics to stress us out. A lot of corrupt government. A lot of bad people. Now and then it is nice to just retreat and hope they leave us alone for a few more years.

Shot this video this past week at our ranch in SE Oklahoma.

The music with the video is "He Looked Beyond My Fault, And Saw My Need". Probably we all need to do a little of that. A young lady named Stephanie Banta sang on the sound track and played the fiddle. I played the rest of the instruments. Music was recorded a couple of years ago. I just put it with this video.

It's 3 minutes.... it's not politics. I've posted it in general chat. If you like it, click like on the youtube page. Thanks much!

Great to see, thanks. Similar to our old family place in Central-West Texas. We probably have more mesquite and rattlesnakes, and less cattle per acre.

Thanks.... we don’t have many rattlers. We do have copperheads and cotton mouths. Appreciate your comments!

Bookmarking to watch later. Like this time of year! I go for walks in the woods around sunset with the low sun angle - makes for a very eerie and invigorating walk with the snap in the air. Having a good dog at my side makes it even better.

Yep... I love to be in the woods.... and we have about 100 acres of woods with a major creek going through it... ponds etc. And pretty much every critter that Oklahoma has. It is a great way to be retired...

“It is a great way to be retired...”

And more civilized than most cities, these days.
