Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley defended President Trump as "truthful" and said she never questioned the president's fitness for office during a combative interview with Today's Savannah Guthrie.
Haley, 47, has been defending the president on her media tour to promote her new book, With All Due Respect: Defending America with Grit and Grace, which was published on Tuesday. "I am way over time, but let me just quickly, because it’s been out there and you worked in this administration. Did you ever have any doubt about the fitness of this president?" Guthrie asked Tuesday morning. Haley, who alleged former chief of staff John Kelly and former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had tried to usurp the president, responded, "I never did," adding that she never doubted his mental acuity.

You disagree? What constitutes substance to you? Sometimes simple statements are more substantive than an elaborative mess of words.
I do not need to continue to hear from this person.
Some, of course, would say that Nikki Haley is being a complete brown-nose.
She may at times march to a different drummer, but “brown-nose” is not the beat she is listening to.
Just watching the clip, Haley looks as if she is just kissing Trump’s ring. She is a snake and she was ALWAYS a NEVER TRUMPER. Don’t believe her false support for him. She dodged the question as to why Kelly or Tillerson would undermine the president by just saying “Ask them.” Why didn’t she rat them out to the president herself, if she truly believed in him and supported him 100%? Questions that should make you see she is a liar.

Maybe she did since they both got the boot.
That’s right, as usual, attack and belittle anyone in the GOP who tries to say or do anything to support Trump. That seems to be a Freeper speciality.

If she is indeed someone who is a weathervane, this is still a good thing. It may mean that the other Republican politicians who move with the wind will also swing in the right direction. There will always be more politicians than statesmen. But a movement of politicians deciding that it’s more self-preserving to cooperate with Trump than to oppose him can be the basis of getting Trump’s agenda moving on Capitol Hill.
She didn't support him in the primaries, but voted for him in the general election. By definition, that means she was not "Always a Never Trumper."
And if she was "ALWAYS a NEVER TRUMPER", then Trump himself is an idiot and hypocrite of the worse kind for putting her in his cabinet, and then giving her such a warm, public send off when she left.
I don't think Trump's either an idiot or a hypocrite, so either I'm wrong about that, or your wrong about Haley.
Bingo.
If Nikki is defending Trump it's a good indication that there's a lot more to what Trump said about having the goods on the whole Swamp than hot air.
