In front of border wall construction at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument last weekend, our (Center for Biological Diversity) Arizona field campaigner Brytnee Laurette shared a poignant poem about the struggles faced by local wildlife, migrants, and indigenous communities.

Here is a 2 minute clip of a Professional, expressing the thinking (or lack thereof) of "environmentalists" in opposing the border wall (or apparently, the enforcement of any border whatsoever).

When the tallest portion of the wall is completed, I say we toss old ‘Brytnee’ over so she can fully commune with ‘nature’ and all that.

Laiken Jordahl of the same Center, posted the following picture on twitter on November 12th, depicting the plight of the rare Sonoyta mud turtle. I can almost hear the poor turtles plaintively calling out: "You're harshing my buzz, dude. I totally lost track of mating and stuff."
